Few offer any insight, and together its mostly just a cacophony of unvalidated opinion. And apparently there's more then just one started every second. How many true experts can possibly be out there? This is why industry treats them like 'second-class' media. I find the reality to be that truly knowledgeable bloggers were already present in other forms, print usually, and started blogs in response (or perhaps in reaction) to the trend.
